Captain William Kidd

Scapegoat or Scoundrel

by Carol MacLeod

Was Captain Kidd really responsible for the mysterious Oak Island treasure?

This book investigates the age old question of whether or not William Kidd was responsible for the mysterious diggings on Oak Island.  However, after considerable research, CAROL MCLEOD has made three major conclusions:  first, that Captain Kidd did not visit Nova Scotia; second, that none of his treasure remains unaccounted for; and finally, that he was a man much maligned by history.
