When Jason accidentally checks a player from behind, the boy is seriously hurt. Jason is devastated when the boy's parents want him suspended from the league.
Jason loves playing for his Calgary hockey team, but everything changes when he accidentally checks an opposing player from behind.
The player hits the boards hard and is seriously hurt, and Jason faces suspension from the league. Against tough odds, Jason must find a way to prove himself -- to his family, his friends, his teacher and to his team.
Powerful and entertaining, Danger Zone follows the struggle of an underdog -- both on and off the ice.

Reviews
"This tale is convincing and poignantly realistic. Bossley makes the reader deeply sympathize with Jason while not over dramatizing his circumstances and feelings. ... Although, the book is part of a series that is clearly geared principally to boys, the book was a great read for a girl who has never played hockey and rarely watches it! Well written and well paced, this book is excellent for the young hockey fan and a great selection for even the "un-hockey" fan."
