LORNA SCHULTZ NICHOLSON has written picture books, middle grade and YA fiction, and non-fiction. She has also written, produced, and hosted programs for television and radio, and is well known for her sports writing. She lives in Edmonton.
JACQUELINE GUEST is a Metis writer who lives in Bragg Creek, Alberta. Her books are frequently selected as Canadian Children's Book Centre Best Books for Kids and Teens. A Goal in Sight was nominated for a Golden Eagle Award. In 2012, Free Throw and Triple Threat won the American Indian Youth Literature Award for Best Middle School Book and Jacqueline also won the Indspire Award.
JENNIFER MANUEL was the 2017 winner of the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize and was named "A Writer to Watch" by the CBC in 2016. Manuel teaches elementary and high school in the traditional territory of the Nuu-chah-nulth peoples where she coaches the youth basketball team. She lives in Duncan, British Columbia.
DAVID TRIFUNOV is an award-winning sportswriter whose previous titles for Lorimer Kids and Teens include Ice Time, Snow Soccer and Free Runner. He lives in Kelowna, B.C., with his wife and three daughters.
