Hollytales to Warm your Dreams

by Dorothy MacDonald

Based on short stories shared on the radio, this volume brings together tales to warm your heart and dreams.

Hollytales was first presented as fifteen minute radio broadcast from radio station CJFX in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.  It was called "Tales for Tots" by Holly Hill.  Holly Hill was a pseudonym chosen because it would be easy for a child to spell and remember.

As time passed it was to become a television show presented every Monday night from six to six thirty from CFCY, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.  It was called "The Aunt Holly Show" and continued for several years.  The television show also included child crafts easily constructed from materials found at home.

As the children grew up and became parents they often expressed a wish that they could find a book of the "Holly" tales to read to their own children.  As a result the "Holly Tales" were collected and are presented in this volume of "Hollytales To Warm Your Dreams."
