About the Author

Born at Margaree Forks, Nova Scotia, on January 3, 1882, Moses Coady bore a deep and life-long love for the valley of his birth.  For him, no people could surpass his kin and neighbours and their ancestors - those sturdy pioneers who had shaped a wilderness into an Eden for him and his people.
