STACEY MARIE ROBINSON was born in Toronto as a communications specialist, entertainment enthusiast, and music lover she is guided by her Jamaican heritage. She trained as a journalist in Windsor, and Detroit Michigan before returning home to Scarborough, where she currently resides.

‘NATHAN BURGOINE is the author of the queer young adult novel Exit Plans for Teenage Freaks (finalist for the Prix Aurora Award for YA Novel) and queer young adult novella Hope Echoes. He, his husband, and their rescued husky live in Ottawa, Ontario.

KEVIN HERONJONES is a youth basketball coach, author, journalist, actor, lecturer and award-winning performance poet. He lives in Milton, Ontario.

TERESA WOUTERS is a Métis teacher, musician, actress, TV personality, public speaker and writer. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Studies, a Bachelor of Education degree and a Master's in Creative Writing (MFA). Teresa lives in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

LORNA SCHULTZ NICHOLSON has written picture books, middle grade and YA fiction, and non-fiction. She has also written, produced, and hosted programs for television and radio, and is well known for her sports writing. Lorna regularly visits schools to share her passion for literacy with students. She lives in Edmonton.
