When Maddie finds out that her little brother Julian is being terrorised by a group of bullies in school, she decides that her gang should confront the problem, head on. Her father has been telling her that she has to look out for her younger brothers. Julian, however, has been staying home from school, sick with fear, but when he finds out that Maddie is going to fight the bullies, he tells all. Reviews

"The ideas in the story will make sense to children and show that bullying has negative effects on more people than just the victim and the bullies. Told in simple language with short paragraphs and chapters, the book is well written for this age level."
