Maddie Needs Her Own Life

Maddie is bored. She's bored at home, bored with chores and her screaming baby sister. She bored at school, bored with her teacher and her too-perfect friend Clementine. So when she's offered a chance to hang out with a new crowd, she jumps at it.
Her new friends are older, tougher and, it seems, smarter: they have a plan to raise enough money to go see their favourite band's concert. The plan soon goes bad, however, and Maddie finds herself in danger of being called a thief. Until, that is, "too-perfect" Clementine arrives to save the day.
Maddie Needs Her Own Life is the story of a girl whose impulsiveness threatens to lead her into real trouble, and of the friend who draws her back.
